{faux snow} cottonwood trees in the northwest

Tiff was a trouper during her session even though she has allergies and the cotton wood is blowing so much it looks like snow! We had a great time and even taught her mom how to hold a reflector! :)

{gracious} the folks at Tolly’s Restaurant & Soda Fountain

Last weekend, during the hottest weekend of the year so far, I had 16 sessions for my 09 Senior Models. It was a great weekend, super fun, super exhausting, and super HOT! I will be posting more photos of all of my Models but first I wanted to post these photos taken in Tolly’s, http://www.tollys-restaurant.com. Tim Mitchell the General Manager was kind enough to invite us to take some photos inside and in their outdoor seating area. For those of you that haven’t been in Tolly’s recently, it looks fabulous in there! Here are a few of my favorite pics of Annie and Jacqui at Tolly’s.

{amazing} this session

I was worried that we would be rained out today but as luck would have it the first drops didn’t fall until just as we finished shooting. It was one of those days when everything worked! I had a VERY tough time limiting myself to my standard three sneak peaks so just know that you are missing some great shots! :)

{impressive} 60 miles in 3 days

These ladies are walking in the Breast Cancer 3 Day. They will be covering approximately 60 miles in 3 days which I think is totally impressive and amazing! My mom is a Breast Cancer Survivor so this is a cause near and dear to my heart. Here is some info on what exactly the 3 Day is:

Thousands of women and men come together, each raising at least $2,200 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. Then they take their commitment to end breast cancer one step further and walk 60 miles over the course of three days.

Eighty-five percent of the net proceeds of this event go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Every advancement in breast cancer research, treatment, education and prevention in the last 25 years has been touched by a Komen for the Cure grant.

The remaining fifteen percent of net funds goes to the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund to provide a permanent endowment for ongoing support of breast cancer initiatives.

{bad boys} people who break the law

So…. you know that I always say “I had a great time at this session”… well while I did have a great time with Steven that was not the most memorable part of the day. The most memorable part would have been when we were accosted by the LAW!! Yep, note to self… it is a “federal offense punishable by a $250 fine” to take photos at the V.A. OOPS!! You would never know it by the first two photos but he was a very smiley guy… but when I asked for the serious look he nailed it!
