{prom} a time for friends

I remember my prom …. YES they had proms back then.. .and CARS too! Actually it wasn’t all that long ago.. the late 80′s, when big hair was in … for girls AND rock bands! I had so much fun on Saturday taking photos of my 2008 and 2009 Senior Models with their dates and friends on their way to Roseburg Senior High’s prom. It really did bring back so many memories… Junior year when I worked sooooo hard on prom committee with my best friend Tammy and then we didn’t get asked to go. Then Senior year when not only did I go but I went with a huge group. There were ten of us couples (I think that is right) and we had dinner catered to one of my friends houses then all went to the prom together. It was so fun! Some sick part of me would love to show you a photo of me in my big pink southern belle dress with bows down the back of my hair and my date in his white tux …. but thank goodness none of those photos live in the digital world! These are some of my favorite photos from Saturday night, while I did get plenty of color posed smile at the camera shots these are the ones that I wish I had from my prom.
