Another amazing wedding for me, Lisa and Jay were married at McMenamins Grand Lodge, located in Forest Grove, Oregon. The building was built in 1922 as a Masonic & Eastern Star home and has been renovated by McMenamins, the inside is wonderful… tons of artwork on the walls and a real European feel. The outside is gorgeous as well, but it has to be said that on Saturday it was also really hot!
I had a very hard time picking just three of my favorites to share with you, be sure and watch the slideshow when it is posted tomorrow to see even more fantastic shots (if I do say so myself!)The first photo is when Lisa and Jay had their “first glance”. Many savy brides choose to do all of the posed photos prior to the ceremony so that they can have more time and so that it is less stressful… BUT… we still want it to be special when the groom sees his bride for the first time so we set up a private meeting for the two of them. I have not had a bride yet who regretted going this route with their photos and I know that we get many more photos of the bride and groom together by doing it this way… K… I know… enough rambling right?
