{intimate} a beautiful backyard wedding

First I must say… I am SO sorry that I haven’t posted in awhile! I have been super busy lately and yes, have been slacking on the blogging… I promise to mend my ways though! Starting with today! Yesterday I photographed a wedding that was truly a celebration of friends and family. It was just my kind of day, beautiful weather, great people, and lots of wonderful seafood! These are a couple of my favorite shots, I can’t remember the name of the brides perfume but it was SO yummy that I had to at least show a photo of it! Congrats Kelly and Teresa!

{fabulous} river session on a beautiful fall day

The weather was gorgeous on the day of this session, we did have a little bit of wind to deal with but nothing we couldn’t handle! I had to include a preview shot with her sweet little puppy, you know what a sucker I am for the animals!

{potential} capable of being or becoming anything he wants

This little guy has quite a role model in his daddy, a guy who “wears a lot of hats” and enjoys it. Daddy is a fireman, a race car driver, and a comes from a family of loggers! So we had plenty of fun props to use at this session… here are a couple of my favorite shots of the little man…

{hot} hot off the presses that is!

There is a new parenting magazine in town called MOM Magazine and yours truly is the official cover photographer for the Umpqua Valley Edition! I found out that I was chosen a few months ago but thought that I would wait to tell you until the magazine was out. Each issue they will pick a cover mom, someone usually in our county, and I get to photograph her and her children! Fun stuff! This month’s cover mom is Mandy Holborow and she is one busy woman! Triplets and two pre-teen girls! Our “cover shoot” was a bit of a challenge because wouldn’t you know it, the babies were teething! We did get some smiles out of them though. You will have to read the magazine to see all of the photos but here is the cover:

You can pick up a free copy of the magazine at local Dr.’s offices, the hospital, and some local businesses. I have a limited number and would be glad to give you one when you come in for your session, I also know that Cellar Door will have some… just keep your eye out. You can also subscribe by going to the link above, just be sure to specify that you want the Umpqua Valley edition. :)

{photo-op} shooting a wedding for another photographer!

I had so much fun yesterday! I got to shoot a wedding for a local photographer that is a friend of mine, AND I had another local photographer that I am friends with helping me… fun, fun, fun!!! The best part was that the bride made lots of time for photographs before the wedding for shots with her and the groom so we had time to go to several locations and do fun “artsy” stuff! Here are some of my favorite shots… aren’t they a kissy couple! :)   Oh… and the street sign thing… that street was actually named after her so we HAD to get that shot! :)
