I love it when one of “my seniors” makes the news, and yesterday TWO of them did! Jorden Zerbach scored 21 points and hit five clutch free throws in the last two minutes of Umpqua Valley Christian’s 49-43 Skyline League girls basketball playoff win over Camas Valley! Go Jorden! Another of “my seniors” Ashley Pittam added 10 points and 11 rebounds for UVC, and that is with a bad knee! Yeah Ashley! Good job girls!!

I am often asked how I get such great smiles from my subjects… while I would love for you to believe it is 100% talent on my part, I must admit it is about 80% talent and 20% bribery! This little gal’s mom bought this sucker and it was her prize at the end of the session, worked like a charm! Isn’t she just too cute!

This was such an easy session! Maybe because I have been photographing this little guy since before he was born! For his age he did an awesome job! That is NOT to say that he didn’t have just a couple of “moments” as evidenced by one of the photos.

hmm…. I think mom is going to have her hands full with this one! Sweet and cute one minute and sporting her leather jacket and looking tough the next! … and let me tell you this child has personality to spare! “TROUBLE I tell you… right here in” Roseburg!

I have known Reggi her whole life and I have always known her to be a “tomboy” and an athlete. Well…. when she came to my studio for her session it was pretty obvious that she was also growing up! gasp! So of course I decided it was time to start doing some fun teen poses with Reggi and boy did she do a great job! I also have to mention, although I know she is probably rolling her eyes as she reads this, is that not the CUTEST hairstyle on her ever! Love love love the new grown up Reggi!

This was another session on a very cold day, and another girl who toughed it out! Luckily she had a friend along to keep her spirits high while the hypothermia set in! I think we got some great images, and she doesn’t look cold at all!
