i do … Caity & Eric | Roseburg Wedding Photographer

When Caity came to me to ask me to photograph her wedding I had SUCH a dilema! I had already commited to attending a family reunion on that weekend, but she was so sweet… and loved my photography SO much… well, how could I say no? In the end I woke up super early the day of her wedding and drove back to Roseburg just so that I could photograph it and I am so glad I did. You could not ask for a nicer couple, and their wedding was just beautiful! So Caity and Eric here is a little sneak peek for you! :)

happily ever after | Melrose Vineyards Wedding

If you haven’t been out to Melrose Vineyards since they did their remodel you really must go! Their tasting room is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. the wine is delicious and the view spectacular! Sarah and Chris took a leap of faith and decided to have their wedding at the vineyard before the remodel had even begun. What a clever couple! The weather was perfect the day of their wedding, their families were some of the nicest I have ever worked with, and they are such a fun couple… I know the wedding would have been perfect regardless of where they had it but the location was definitely the icing on the “wedding” cake!

Here are just a couple of my favorite images from the day… her colors were a dark pink and chocolate brown… yummy and so fun!

I mean, he IS an OSU fan… but we had a good time talking college ball and exchanging “civil war” stories.

adoption event | roseburg oregon pet photographer

You all know what a huge animal lover I am… I can’t imagine NOT having a pet of some type in my life! I just had to pass this information on to you in hopes that someone will read it and give one of these sweet animals a “forever home”. Shelter animals are often the best option for families because most of them have gone through that puppy/kitten stage and are going to be MUCH easier to assimilate into your home. If you know someone that may be looking for a new “family member” please pass this information along… or use the quick links below to post it to your Facebook or MySpace accounts.

from Saving Grace Animal Shelter:

On Saturday, August 15, 2009, in recognition of National Homeless Animal Day, the dogs from Saving Grace will be transported away from the stresses of their sheltered lives, to a park-like setting at Mill Creek Bookkeeping, 4900 NE Stephens Street, Winchester (across from the Winchester Nursery).  This off-site adoption event will be held from 1pm – 4pm and ALL dog adoptions will cost only $99 – this cost includes: spay/neuter; microchip; licensing (if age appropriate); initial vaccines (including rabies, if age appropriate); Frontline (flea/tick) treatment, deworming AND a free visit to your preferred veterinarian!

Help us provide one of our sheltered dogs a second chance to love and be loved by a new family.”
