ali 2010 | southern oregon senior photographer
Ali was the queen of accessories & props! I love it when “my” seniors bring things to the session that are important to them, whether it be their dog, a musical instrument, or in Ali’s case… boxing gloves!
Ali also brought some great hats and scarves which I love, totally spices up your portraits when you add some great accessories. Here are some of my fav’s from her session.
jordan 2010 | roseburg senior photographer
While Jordan’s session was very fun, I can’t think about it without getting just a tiny bit of a stomach ache. Why? you ask… well… Jordan chose to have me take her senior photos in and around her high school, Glide High School. Sounds great, right? Well it was! She is involved in athletics so we got some great photos in the girls locker room, then we had some fun on the school grounds, then off to the ball fields… great! Got some wonderful images as evidenced below…. I drive back to the studio and go to get my camera bag out of my trunk. My camera bag that held ALL of my memory cards, ALL of my lenses except the one on my camera, ALL of my batteries, ALL of my memory cards and my flash…. I tend to bring everything I could possibly need even though I shoot 90% of my senior sessions with just my 70-200mm lens. Annnyyyyyway….. like I said, I open the trunk to get the camera bag AND……..it is NOT there! gasp, heart attack, dollar signs dancing in my head……… I had taken it into the gym when we did the locker room shots in case I wanted to switch to a wider angle lens… OMG! That had been over two hours ago. I frantically called a friend of mine who lives in Glide, she had her daughter run to the school, love you Kirsten, Kirsten then had to track down the football coach to get a key to the gym since it had since been locked up……….. and low and behold my bag was right were I left it! God Bless Glide High School! So …. you can see why I break into a bit of a cold sweat when I think about Jordan’s session right?
My carelessness aside we got some great images and I know her mom will find one to hang next to the one I took of her brother last year!
kelsey 2010 | southern oregon senior photographer
We got so many great images of Kelsey it was super hard for me to pick just four! Her session was one of the last when there was fall color everywhere, I can’t believe how fast those darn leaves drop! We are going to do the second half of Kelsey’s session in the spring so she can wear her hair curly and have some green grass and sunshine in her photos, I can’t wait!
