So many times mothers are the ones behind the camera in the family photos. I love that this mom took the time to schedule a portrait session for herself and her son so that she could be in front of the lens! What a great age to capture a few shots of him by himself too. The tween years are great years for a photo session… not quite a teenager, but definitely NOT a little kid either! 
Allison and I had a great time at her session, she has my kind of sense of humor! Although I had to really concentrate on her name because her sister Madison was a High School Senior Model for me last year and I kept wanting to call Allison, Madison! It is heck being over 40!

Jacob and I lucked out and had one of our sunny days for his session, yeah! Here are a couple of my favorites from his session.
Ryan, like SO many senior boys… had one request of his senior portrait session…. “please make it fast”! And boy did we! 30 minutes of fast and furious shooting! We got some great images in that short time though, these are just a few of my favorites. I liked Ryan’s photos so much I have almost forgiven him for making me feel darn old! You see he is the son of one of my classmates from “back in the day” when I graduated! eek! Go RHS class of 1987!
Well, it is finally finished! Yesterday I delivered my last portrait to the Mercy Hospital Family Birthplace for the new display. Myself and two other local photographers have eleven portraits each on display so that moms to be can have something “pretty” to look at while they pace those halls! We are also going to be sending all of the new moms home with a special gift in their going home bags, so be sure to check those bags ladies!
I had such a hard time narrowing my favorite images down to just eleven. I know that seems like a lot but it really isn’t. I may just have to find another display venue for the images that didn’t make it into this one… so if you work in a doctor’s office, pediatrician or OB/GYN, give me a jingle and we can arrange to have some beautiful portraits hung in your office!
