Love this photo of Marissa! Marissa Duarte is another one of my senior models for the class of 2011 and goes to Glide High School, we took this photo on our Senior Model Field Trip!

Rochelle is one of my Roseburg High School Senior Models for the Class of 2011. I love this shot of her from our senior model field trip, and not just because the Oregon Ducks are represented on the carnival ride! This was a CRAZY day but we had a ton of fun!!

Totally off topic… well, not really I guess since there is a PHOTO! Yesterday I was photographing some of my high school senior models and while I was waiting for them to change their outfits I saw this blackberry bush… Few things say “summer” to me as much as blackberries! I remember picking them until my fingers were blue and sticky (and my belly fuller than the bowl to be honest!) Love, love, love the blackberries! Hope everyone is having a fabulous summer!

I think that 2010 is going to have to be dubbed the “year of the canoe” for me! This is my second wedding couple of the year to get into a canoe during their wedding portraits! How lucky am I to have such fun couples? Lisa and Ryan’s wedding was not just fun it was really beautiful. There were jelly jars with flowers strung from the trees, and flowers everywhere,  not to mention the gorgeous location on the river! Here are just a few of my favorites from their day.

I was so excited to have a baby girl in the studio! It seems like the past five or six newborns I have photographed have been boys. What a sweet little thing Miss Molly was! Her mom followed all of my tips, including getting Molly in for her portraits when she was nice and new, just 5 days old! Makes for the best sleepy baby photos ever. Molly’s daddy definitely took one for the team at her session as well… anything for a cute nakey photo right? nuff said….

I love engagement sessions in general but this one was super fun! We started with some fun urban shots and then finished in a field of daisies! Has anyone else noticed the abundance of daisies this year? It must have something to do with the wet spring, in any case it was a great field! Here are some of my favorites from our session.
