Many of you may have read or heard about the little boy who was saved from drowning on Sunday at Burkhart Rapids. Well, one of “my” seniors, Larissa Pierce, was the one who pulled him from the water. She has worked for the Sheriff’s Dept. with Search and Rescue for years and in the past week was involved in saving two lives! So for those of you that don’t think our Roseburg teens do much of interest I say “take note”! Here is a link to KDRV’s coverage of the rescue, KDRV

Had a great time at Keefe’s session! It was so fun to photograph a senior in the sunshine for a change! That wet spring was sooooo long. I also loved that he not only brought a hat, but his very cool car!

Another great session at the farm! Emily was great, even sat by a scary spider! Which let me tell you… I don’t think I would have done! Anything for the shot was her attitude, and it was worth it!

Amber has THE most amazing eyes! and she is such a sweet girl! How such a smiley sweet girl can SO rock the serious look I couldn’t tell you, but boy did she! Amber was pretty excited to see the Alaska license plate because that is where her dad is from so we were sure to incorporate it.

Very few sessions start with, “my friends call me Taco” … but this one did! “Taco” was great! very laid back and willing to do whatever I asked… even with the local transient crowd as our audience!

Ah, a boy and his TRUCK! Isn’t that the prized possession of many of our Douglas County boys? well it definitely is for Brendan! He even washed it so that it was all pretty for me, what a guy! I used that as our reward though, saving it for last! such a tricky photographer!
