Love this little guy! He is such a cutie, and his mommy always buys him the cutest clothes! Two great places to shop locally for cute baby items are Blend Boutique and Cellar Door. Back to our topic at hand though, here are a few of my favorites from Mr. Riley’s nine month session.
So many times mothers are the ones behind the camera in the family photos. I love that this mom took the time to schedule a portrait session for herself and her son so that she could be in front of the lens! What a great age to capture a few shots of him by himself too. The tween years are great years for a photo session… not quite a teenager, but definitely NOT a little kid either! 
I got the new set for our Holiday Mini Sessions finished today so of course I had to round up some “test monkeys” … er I mean “subjects” to see how it all looked. Tyler and Riley’s mom was kind enough to bring them over after work tonight. Now… if you have a four year old and a one year old… or HAVE had one… you probably know that 6 o’clock is not the optimal time to try and take their photos! We decided we would be millionaires if we could just figure out how to bottle Tyler’s energy and sell it to the masses… but alas, I don’t see how it could be done… All that being said… we still got some super cute images, and some down right funny out-takes I might add! Here are just a few of my fav’s.

It was so hot the day that we shot these photos… poor little Soleis was HOT! but she was a trouper. As long as we kept her in snacks and water she was happy. She loved the horses too… will probably grow up to be a rider like her momma. Speaking of… “her momma” is this months cover mom for MOM Magazine! You might also recognize her from being on the news, Korenza Burris. She was so easy to work with and laid back it made my job super fun!
This little guy is SO cute! He just turned one and he is 100% all boy that is for sure! And look how smart he is, showing us how old he is.
I want everyone to send positive thoughts to Kasey Joe’s mommy… she is going to need all the help she can get deciding which portraits to purchase of this little guy! Seriously, he was in SUCH a good mood … and is so darn cute! Sorry mom but there are a lot for you to choose from. This one is my very favorite … he just looks all boy!
Riley, Riley, Riley….. what a busy little dude! I have to say that Riley was probably the first toddler that I have had walk AWAY from his cake! Of course once he got a taste of it he was MORE than happy to sit down and have a little snack!
