Tomorrow is Roseburg’s first annual Dog Walk and Play Day put on by Making Connections. It will be held tomorrow at Stewart Park from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. They will be having a group dog walk, Agility Dog and Disc Dog Demonstrations, a dog/owner lookalike contest, raffles and much more!  Be sure to get there early because the first 100 dogs will also receive a free goody bag from Companion Animal Clinic! I will have a booth so please come by to say “hi”. I will have some specials and a drawing that you can enter as well!

Of course no post is complete without photos right? So here are my two very favorite dogs in the world…

If you have read my blog for any length of time you know that I love animals! I have been offering pet photography here in the studio for awhile but I have finally added a gallery of pet images to my website. So far we haven’t had any brave kitty owners come in but they are welcome! I love love love cats and dogs! Once our weather perks up a bit I will be offering some on location pet photography as well because I know many dogs, and especially cats, are more comfortable at home.

I want to thank everyone that brought their pets in for portraits this weekend. It was the best of times…. it was the craziest of times… and in the end we raised $680 for Saving Grace! We got some great, and some very funny, pet portraits… be sure to check back on Wednesday for my favorites! For now… you will just have to look at the two cutest subjects in the world… my pugs Bella and Goldie! We just took this photo this morning and I don’t think Goldie was totally awake!

and so it begins! Taco & Missy were kind enough to come in a day early to help me work out any kinks in the set up for Pet Portrait Madness! oh, umm… I mean,  Pet Portrait WEEKEND! These are two of my favorite shots from their session… Missy was VERY treat motivated… can you tell?
