Two of my High School Senior Models are on the Roseburg High Swim Team… so of course I had to take a few photos of them in the pool! I must say that shooting in the YMCA pool area is not ideal! The lighting is pretty horrible because it is all florescent, and it is SO hot and humid in there that my poor camera fogged right up… which is SO not good for it … but anything for some fun shots!

When Seniors are chosen to be one of my Senior Models they get at least two free sessions, one “for me” in the summer and then their “real” senior session later in the year. Malia and I ended up doing her second session the week after graduation and it was so much fun! I love seeing how the kids change and grow up over the year, and the session is so easy because we know each other… combine that with some rocking weather and you have one great session! Here are just a few of my favorites… there are tons more that I love but I have to stick with my 3 per client rule.

Tiff was a trouper during her session even though she has allergies and the cotton wood is blowing so much it looks like snow! We had a great time and even taught her mom how to hold a reflector!

I was worried that we would be rained out today but as luck would have it the first drops didn’t fall until just as we finished shooting. It was one of those days when everything worked! I had a VERY tough time limiting myself to my standard three sneak peaks so just know that you are missing some great shots!

So…. you know that I always say “I had a great time at this session”… well while I did have a great time with Steven that was not the most memorable part of the day. The most memorable part would have been when we were accosted by the LAW!! Yep, note to self… it is a “federal offense punishable by a $250 fine” to take photos at the V.A. OOPS!! You would never know it by the first two photos but he was a very smiley guy… but when I asked for the serious look he nailed it!

Ben is another student from Elkton that made the drive down for senior photos and I am so glad that he did! We had a great time, even if his driving did scare me just a tad. Just kidding Ben!
