I think that 2010 is going to have to be dubbed the “year of the canoe” for me! This is my second wedding couple of the year to get into a canoe during their wedding portraits! How lucky am I to have such fun couples? Lisa and Ryan’s wedding was not just fun it was really beautiful. There were jelly jars with flowers strung from the trees, and flowers everywhere, not to mention the gorgeous location on the river! Here are just a few of my favorites from their day.
This was the first time that I had photographed a wedding at Delfino Vineyards and it is so pretty! They have a little pond with a pier AND a canoe that my bride and groom took for a spin! While the guest list was small at this event you could tell the love was not! One of the brides best friends acted as officiant at the wedding, standing up for the groom were his two sons, and standing up for the bride was her “step-daughter to be” and another best friend… who just happened to be a guy! He was jokingly called the “dude of honor.” And can you imagine my delight when the bride told me her dog was going to be a part of the day! You know me and dogs…. love those fur kids! It was a beautiful wedding, colors where amazing, fun … fun … fun couple, and you really could feel the love between the bride and groom. So … here a few of my favorite photos from the day… it was SO hard to choose!
Another gorgeous wedding at Melrose Vineyards! Laura and Jon had a sunset ceremony so the lighting was just delicious for our portraits! Here are a couple of my favorites from the day…
When Caity came to me to ask me to photograph her wedding I had SUCH a dilema! I had already commited to attending a family reunion on that weekend, but she was so sweet… and loved my photography SO much… well, how could I say no? In the end I woke up super early the day of her wedding and drove back to Roseburg just so that I could photograph it and I am so glad I did. You could not ask for a nicer couple, and their wedding was just beautiful! So Caity and Eric here is a little sneak peek for you! 
Oh my goodness… I bet you were wondering if I would ever get this online! I can’t believe it has been a week since my last post… sorry faithful readers but it has been a busy busy week for me. This is a slide-show of some of my favorite images from Sarah and Chris’s wedding at Melrose Vineyards.(be sure to give it a minute to load… there is a progress bar in the bottom right hand corner.)
If you haven’t been out to Melrose Vineyards since they did their remodel you really must go! Their tasting room is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. the wine is delicious and the view spectacular! Sarah and Chris took a leap of faith and decided to have their wedding at the vineyard before the remodel had even begun. What a clever couple! The weather was perfect the day of their wedding, their families were some of the nicest I have ever worked with, and they are such a fun couple… I know the wedding would have been perfect regardless of where they had it but the location was definitely the icing on the “wedding” cake!
Here are just a couple of my favorite images from the day… her colors were a dark pink and chocolate brown… yummy and so fun!
