So … yep… there are a lot of outfits in this post… but have you seen a teen age girl’s closet lately? Most senior girls book our Indie session or Rockstar session so that they can wear as many outfits as possible. The Rockstar session is especially cool because it includes hair and make-up styling! but I digress… Today’s “What to Wear Wednesday” is all about High School Senior girls, I must confess that these outfits were designed by my good friend Lisa who has MUCH better fashion sense than I do!  I love the combinations that she came up with, they are so modern and FUN!  One of the things that really makes these outfits work is that they are head to toe outfits, and include great accessories!

Hah! you thought I forgot about this didn’t you?! Nope… I love the colors in these outfits! This is another good example of matching but not “matchy matchy”.

This has been on my “list” for the past month or so… but you know how that goes! One of the most frequent questions that I hear after someone books a session is “so what do we wear?”  I love hearing that question because it lets me know that your portraits are important to you, and quite honestly the first step to amazing portraits is to arrive in a outfits that co-ordinate, are clean, and with hair that is brushed! 

A group of other professional photographers and I have begun working together to come up with some clothing suggestions to post once a week. Everything I share can be found online or in stores but don’t feel like you have to buy new outfits… this is just meant as a guide, you may have similar things right in your closet! So, for the next few weeks… or as long as I can keep up with it… every Wednesday I will be posting some sample outfits to help you get the idea of what I mean when I say “outfits that match, but not necessarily matchy matchy”.
