Loved little Ryker! He was perfect for his session, as soon as mom gave him a little snack he fell soundly asleep and let us do whatever we wanted with him! Love those “milk drunk” babies! Here are a couple of my favorite images.

I was so excited to have a baby girl in the studio! It seems like the past five or six newborns I have photographed have been boys. What a sweet little thing Miss Molly was! Her mom followed all of my tips, including getting Molly in for her portraits when she was nice and new, just 5 days old! Makes for the best sleepy baby photos ever. Molly’s daddy definitely took one for the team at her session as well… anything for a cute nakey photo right? nuff said….

What a fun session this was. Both Kayla and Jerime grew up in the Douglas County area and now live in Las Vegas, so when they were home for a visit Kayla’s mom scheduled a family portrait session for them. Their little guy, Damon, is just so cute! Kayla is a hair stylist so of course his hair was perfect for his session! I asked them to bring a quilt so that we could sit in the grass which was slightly damp and I fell in LOVE with the one that they brought! I am now on the hunt for a similar one to keep on hand, so if you see one please let me know. Here are just a few of my favorites from their session…

I have to admit I was a little bit nervous during Cayden’s session. A newborn session usually lasts about two hours, but for Cayden we had to make it happen in one hour so that his mommy could make another appointment. I always allow two hours so that we have plenty of time for feeding breaks or diaper changes as well as time to get the baby comfortable … I had no reason for concern with Cayden though! He was as “good” as can be! sweet little laid back dude that he is, we were finished in no time!

Love this little guy! He is such a cutie, and his mommy always buys him the cutest clothes! Two great places to shop locally for cute baby items are Blend Boutique and Cellar Door. Also, if you spend a certain amount at Blend you will get a gift certificate for a FREE mini session with me! How is that for a win win situation? cute outfits AND a free photo session! Back to our topic at hand though, here are a few of my favorites from Mr. Riley’s nine month session.

Well, it is finally finished! Yesterday I delivered my last portrait to the Mercy Hospital Family Birthplace for the new display. Myself and two other local photographers have eleven portraits each on display so that moms to be can have something “pretty” to look at while they pace those halls! We are also going to be sending all of the new moms home with a special gift in their going home bags, so be sure to check those bags ladies!

I had such a hard time narrowing my favorite images down to just eleven. I know that seems like a lot but it really isn’t. I may just have to find another display venue for the images that didn’t make it into this one… so if you work in a doctor’s office, pediatrician or OB/GYN, give me a jingle and we can arrange to have some beautiful portraits hung in your office!

So here they are… cuteness galore!

When Austin’s mommy booked his session I suggested that she bring along any items that were special. She told me that Austin’s daddy was a very into hunting so she had the perfect item… a camo blanket! And you know what Austin loved that blanket! These are just a few of my favorites from Austin’s session… it was hard to choose for this little guy! Don’t you love his hair!?

This was an amazing session, little Teigan did great! He even gave me a little bit of a smile. I have been enjoying our fresh faces campaign for newborns so much I don’t want it to end! These babies are just all so sweet and “mooshable”… love them!
